Steve Russell, BSc (Hons)
Steve has over 40 years experience in woodland and countryside management, as well as arboriculture and planning, within both the public and private sector.
Steve is a longstanding and active member of various Forestry organisations and has been Secretary of the Royal Forestry Society Southern Division for the over 15 years and a regional committee member of ConFor for over 10 years. He holds numerous NPTC and Lantra certificates including Professional Tree Inspection. In 2011 he completed a BSc (Hons) Degree in Countryside Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, gaining a First and being awarded the Morley Penistan Award for top Forestry Student. Steve has also lectured in Woodland Management at both Sparsholt and Lackham colleges and was involved in the development of the City and Guilds apprenticeships in Forestry.
